The weekly meetings are entry points and are designed to help people connect and find direction. The meetings are Thursdays from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., and people can attend anytime throughout the year. The meetings are two hours in length. The first hour is worship through song followed by either a biblically based lesson on recovery or a testimony of God's grace changing a person's life. During the second hour, everyone attends small groups that address specific struggles.
For first-time visitors a newcomer's orientation is given to answer many of the questions people have as they enter the ministry.
*Life Issues for men in Highland Village include any struggle not specifically described by one of the other groups, such as abuse, fear/anxiety, co-dependency, depression, guilt and shame, loneliness and relationship issues.
*Life Issues for women in Highland Village include any struggle not specifically described by one of the other groups, such as anger/bitterness, pride, fear/anxiety (other than the fear of man, which is covered with our co-dependency group), depression, guilt and shame, loneliness and relationship issues.
Additional groups meet on Tuesday nights at our Denton campus. You can view these groups by going to the "choose a campus" drop-down menu at the upper right-hand corner of this page and selecting Denton campus.
No sign up is needed for these meetings — just show up. Kid Keepers (childcare) is available.
