Kid Keepers offers childcare for special events to enable a ministry's growth and outreach so that parents are able to attend the ministry event.
Kid Keepers check-in begins 15 minutes before each event. If attending events at the Highland Village Worship Center, the check-in is the first window down the right-hand hallway of the building. At the Flower Mound campus, child check-in for Kid Keepers is located in the Preschool Ministry check-in area which is immediately to your left once you enter the main entrance.
For the safety and security of your child, first-time visitors will need to fill out a registration card. Once the card is filled out, you will receive a numbered security sticker that has two portions. The larger portion is used as the child's name tag, and you need to keep the smaller portion. This smaller portion serves two purposes:
Kid Keepers are paid part-time employees of the church, whose job it is to provide care and Christ-centered instruction for children during church-wide events.
In Kid Keepers, we believe effective ministry happens best through caring and trusting relationships. We want to provide parents and caregivers with the security that they are leaving their child with trusted loving teachers that will point their child to the gospel. If you would like to pour into our children by loving, serving and teaching them, we would love for you to join our team. Follow the instructions below to begin the process of becoming a part of Kid Keepers.

Classroom teachers lead the classroom. They keep the children on schedule, implement the classroom curriculum and ensure that the children are safe and well cared for by following the policies of Kid Keepers. The most important aspect of this position is building relationships with the children and their parents. It is the classroom teacher that has the greatest amount of time and influence with the children while they are with us.
This position oversees and serves the Kid Keepers workers during a single event. Coordinators build relationships with the room teachers and are the liaisons for the preschool staff and the events they coordinate. Coordinators serve as a "manager" of sorts, keeping track of attendance, maintaining teacher-to-child ratios in the classrooms and notifying parents when they are needed during the event.
Lead teachers can be volunteers or regular classroom teachers that feel called to teach the Bible lessons to our older children (three-year olds through elementary). The sole responsibility of the lead teacher is to engage the children in biblical truth by using props, puppets, costumes and drama to make the lesson fun and memorable. As a volunteer Lead Teacher, a background check will be run prior to teaching in the classroom. As a classroom teacher acting as a Lead Teacher, we will ask that you fulfill the role of the classroom teacher in addition to lead teaching.
