Dedicating your child to the Lord is a celebration of a commitment made to raise your child in the ways of the Lord. This dedication is not a statement of salvation for your child, but a statement about the way you are committing to raise your child.
Walking in this commitment cannot be done alone. It requires the help of others. For this reason you are to call upon the community of believers around you to help you and hold you accountable to this dedication.
The Little Village provides parents who are Covenant Members and regular attendees of The Village a baby dedication gift box. The gift box contains a booklet to guide you through hosting your own baby dedication ceremony with your family and community of believers. Please request your gift box at least four weeks in advance of the day you would like to hold your ceremony.
