Giving Tree

Serving Your City

Giving Tree is a partnership with Communities in Schools for our members to help provide Christmas gifts and food for the families of the students we mentor who need extra help during the holidays. Parents of the families participate in a parenting education program to qualify for assistance.

Partner Organization

We partner with the following organization to accomplish this:

Communities in Schools | www.cisnt.org
Mentor at-risk public school students in Denton and Lewisville.

Ways to Serve

  • Pray — Pray for the needy, elderly, and disabled in Denton and for our volunteers from The Village, and the volunteers from other churches and organizations.
  • Donate Gifts — Select an ornament from the Giving Tree in the foyer of The Village.

How To Donate A Gift

Choose an ornament

Select an ornament from the tree in the foyer of The Village starting in late November 2009.

Buy your gifts

Purchase all or most of what is listed on your ornament.

Return your gifts

After you purchase your gift(s), bring them unwrapped to The Village on the designated weekends in December.
